Product & Leadership
Understanding requirements, making technical decisions, evolving the architecture, and setting up a team so that features reach users reliably.
At recordJet, my team and I are responsible for the technology behind digital music distribution, from the product to the systems to the decisions that hold both together.
I built my first websites at 16 and sold development work at 18. Since then I’ve worked across almost every layer of the web stack: PHP, TypeScript, React, Scala, MariaDB, hosting, deployment, monitoring, authentication, payments, internal tooling.
Along the way, individual websites turned into whole systems, and development turned into a role that combines code, leadership, and product responsibility.
Digital music distribution is a demanding environment: requirements arrive at the same time from the product, from the streaming stores, and from regulation. On top of that sits a catalogue that has grown over decades, and infrastructure that has to stay reliable both on-premises and in the cloud.
I spend a lot of time between code, systems, people, and decisions, making sure it all fits together.

Keeping infrastructure, databases, monitoring, and deployments stable, and finding risks before they turn into incidents.
Improving internal workflows, including with AI, where it makes the work better without costing product or decision quality.
